Who can use Citybytes?

For all those who believe, being ‘out’ is ‘in’.

When will there be a Citybyte in my city?

Chances are, it is already there. If it is not, we are working very hard to get it there or else, we are looking for someone like you to help us bring Citybytes to our city.

Is there any Citybyte app?

Coming soon!

The Citybytes team is working on enhancing your experience on mobile devices, however, our website is completely mobile browser compatible.

Payment Options

What payment options does Citybytes have?

Right now payment needs to be done in full in cash at the venue. For options on how to do it through NEFT transfer, send us a mail on reachus[at]citybytesindia.com

We are coming up with an integrated payment gateway very soon, so stay tuned till we go all modern in our approach!

Pre-Sales FAQs

Can I book tickets for infants on Citybytes?

This depends purely on the tour.

What’s a Byte pass?

A Byte pass is a paperless electronic document with a unique booking number that neatly replaces the hassles of a paper ticket.

When you purchase a Byte pass, we email it to you after the booking is complete.

We are going paperless, so you can just show us the email confirmation with your booking id on it, which will suffice for all validation, along with a government photo identity proof.

What are the accepted ID Proofs?

  • Passport
  • Driving Licence
  • Service identity card of state or central government
  • PAN card
  • Aadhar card
  • Passbook issued by bank or post office
  • Health Insurance Card issued by Ministry of Labour
  • Pension Document with Photograph and authenticated Photo Voter Slip issued by the election machinery
  • School/College ID Card (For Children Under 18 years only)
  • Birth Certificate (For Infants and Kids upto 3 years)

What is the maximum number of seats I can book?

Depending on availability, a maximum of <n> (check if there is any limitation) seats can be booked at one time. If you need to book for more than <n> travelers you will have to re–complete the booking process for the additional travelers.

Can I book bytes in multiple cities?

Yes, but you have to book each city separately

Can I book multiple bytes in each city?

Yes. We would love to have you with us on any tour possible.

Does Citybytes offer any loyalty programmes?

Not that at the moment, but we would be coming up with our very own loyalty programme soon, which would reward the most active Citybyters

Bookings Questions

I’ve been getting zero results on the search page. What gives?

Clear your browser cache and try the search again. If you still don’t get any results, it may either be because we do not have a Citybyte for your particular requirement yet.

We’re really sorry for the inconvenience. Please don’t worry. We’ll call you within four hours and complete this booking offline. We suggest you do not try booking again as you may end up getting charged twice. If you’re really impatient, call us at and we’ll help you fix this immediately.
